"Riverwalk Markers and Monoliths" A permanent public art sculpture installation, commissioned by the City of Ferndale, WA and the Ferndale Arts Commission. Cast cement with organic and mica pigments, embedded artifacts, plant and marine imprints. 8 sculptures, from 4' x 10" x 10" to 9' x 18" x 18". “Riverwalk Markers and Monoliths” gives form to the spirit and energy of Ferndale, creating an atmosphere and sense of place, a convergence of nature, community, and history. The sculptures serve as markers of the changes in the geology of the landscape and the community, inviting movement, curiosity, and discovery.
